Google already sucked donkey balls, but their recent antics on Blogger have really pissed me off. Even more so than when I ditched their ass nearly a year ago because Blogger was eating my posts left and right. Recently they changed the “word verification” for comments to some unreadable bullshit, and now they’ve “re-tooled” the comment sections. In doing so, they’ve deleted the comment subscription option, making it a royal pain in the ass to follow discussions. Virtually impossible if you follow along with as many blogs as I do. I don’t have time to go back to blogs multiple times looking for new comments!
Blogger= Google= big fucking globalist douchebags. They are doing this shit to limit communication. They know damn well that folks will quit commenting because it’s a royal pain in the ass to enter those stupid word verifications (often MULTIPLE times to get it “right”), and because they can no longer follow the conversation via e-mail notices of follow-up comments.
We are witnessing the destruction of free communication, one little piece at a time. Don’t give me that “security” bullshit, that’s the lame excuse for every loss of Liberty which has occurred over the last 150 years. Are we any more or less “safe” because of it? No. But we are more divided and enslaved. Fuck Google, go to WordPress. At least WordPress is still useable. For now…
There is a reason I am dropping ALL of my google accounts on March 1st. EVERY SINGLE STINKING ONE OF THEM. (yeah, I have a few, made it easier to separate garbage mails for log ins and the like)
NO Longer. I pity those that have the Android platform phones that are committed to google and that asinine security whatever they wanta callit.
Just had to go through that shit with the word Verification over at AP’s place and it took three tries. I know I am not blind but that garbage is MUD. And I won’t be back to follow up for the same reasons you illustrated above.

Was just reading last night on the PP forum about the UN continuing to make moves to basically control the internet. Now it is the Russians and Chinese trying to put together some treaty where they would basically be able to control the .com and .net domains, shut them down if needed for ‘security’, etc. It got me to thinking that the time to start building a ‘sanitized’ profile of ones-self is NOW. Maybe an alternate profile.
Sanitize all ya want, the .govs will still know who you are…

I don’t know what Blogger’s problem is – certainly they give the impression of busily working to put themselves out of the blog hosting business. It’s more likely to be some internal economic thing, or just good old-fashioned “we know best” incompetence. A conscious conspiracy to limit communication doesn’t seem like the most likely cause. All they’d have to do is say “We’re not hosting blogs anymore.” Which I expect within a year anyway, at the rate they’re going.
Well my tinfoil hat is snugged down pretty tight these days (and justifiably so), so I don’t rule anything out…
