Thanks, and a Message

Posted: February 25, 2012 in Uncategorized

First I want to thank the folks who’ve donated to Coastal PATCOM. And a special thank you goes out to the donor who’d rather remain anonymous and is sending me $150 so I can get my CDL “right damn now”.

Been all over the place today, in both the physical and the cyber world… I’m just plain wore out tired. But I did manage to do a bit of reading in a book YeOldFurt sent my way, Paul Revere’s Ride. From there comes the message, which is directed toward all the III Percent, Patriots, Preppers, “Freefor”, etc.

The revolutionary movement in Boston was not small, tightly controlled, and hierarchical. It was large, open, diverse, complex and pluralistic, a world of many circles.

Which is exactly where we are today. We will not get anywhere bickering amongst ourselves, jockeying for position, flinging arrows to and fro… Yes, we do need to be wary, and question everything. We do need to determine what motives some operate under. But above all, we need to unite. Quarreling over minutia will do nothing more than drive the wedges started by “Opfor” (opposing forces, government) ever deeper, further fracturing us. Divide and conquer.

Paul Revere built bridges. His role in the American Revolution went far beyond the “midnight ride”. He was a uniter, and an inspiration to those who would otherwise  have been bickering amongst themselves over irrelevant details. He convinced the III Percent of his day, those gallant men who we’ve aspired to emulate,  to set aside petty differences in favor of focusing on the big picture. Liberty.

They set aside those small differences and pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor to each other that they might stand up to the overwhelming force of the British Empire, and secure Freedom for themselves and their progeny. We are now standing exactly where they were 236 years ago. Our “Intolerable Acts” have come in the form of the “patriot act”, Obamacare, the NDAA…

We are regulated and restricted to the point of slavery. Unless we join together and do something NOW, there will be nothing left for us to rebuild. The Sons of Liberty have taken on a new form, and that form is PATCOM. We are pledging our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor to the cause of Liberty. Many folks who are unable to attend are supporting us through their donations of money and raffle items. Those who are attending are sacrificing their time and treasure for a greater cause. With each PATCOM held, we grow stronger. We grow more confident. And more importantly, we grow closer together. That is the key to our future as a people and a nation. We can no longer sit passively by while we are raped and pillaged by a hostile government who no longer represents the People. “The answer to 1984 is 1776″. The time to act is now.

Thanks to Richard for the graphic.

Amen. “Lead, follow or get the hell out of the way!”

    • Lead by example. Follow… Well I’d hope folks didn’t need to “follow” anyone, but it is what it is. Get the hell out of the way, well that;s my message to the PTB on all levels. Get the hell out of my way so I can be productive and prosper. The same message goes to the “followers”…

I think we have a great opportunity to teach and inform folks. I know the Doomsday preppers caught a lot of grief for violating Opsec but unless we are willing to risk to educate we will have lost before we even start. The consolidation of both the MSM and the banks/corperations give them a huge advantage but I think folks are starting to realize they are being lied to. We must risk ourselves somewhat to give them the truth.
I will be focusing on a simple everyday message and will concern SOPA,PIPA, NDAA, jobs and the cost of inflation. The simple remedies to starve the monkeys on growing your own food, brewing your own beer, growing your own tobacco and showing who the FBI thinks is a terrorist. I think the message has to be personal and a day to day thing folks can understand.
I don’t think the average American is stupid. They may be ignorant, mentally lazy and indoctrinated, but not stupid. The may not understand the Fed and it’s operation twist or Quanatative Easing but the sure as hell can see the results every time the shop or fill up the gas tank.
WE need no new manifestos we have it in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Those documents as written should be good enough to unite us. Though I do think some of the later amendments should repealed just like we repealed prohibition.

    • I’ve tried to teach for years. It’s no use. You can’t teach those who don’t want to learn. Folks have to want to learn on their own, and that drive is absent from the vast majority. Those who want to learn will do so on their own account, and there’s plenty enough educational material out there for them to peruse. I quit trying to teach all but those who ask for it. Mostly because I realized I am just preaching to the choir. I don’t think we’ll ever return to the Constitution, because it is fatally flawed. Something similar maybe, but with much revision. Anything past the 10th Amendment (Bill of Rights) is garbage. The Declaration of Independence is good, and rings just as true today…

  3. I prefer, “divided we stand, Together we rise!”

Thanks for getting out there what I had on my mind with all of those links today. See ya in a few days.

I agree with all you said, buddy!

There’s an old saying that might apply here…”those that can’t, teach…those that can, do!!”

Interesting about Revere. I’m reading a book right now that hit on Revere’s ability to light the fires and motivate people to action. No one remembers the OTHER rider that night, who rode in the opposite direction of Paul Revere, spreading the same message. It is because he wasn’t effective, and no one who heard him bothered to passed-on the message.

When people heard Revere, they grabbed their guns and got moving.
